Of course we all now there is a lot of money in fashion it is a multi billion dollar industry, but how rich are the people who own it? WWD has published a list of the top paid US fashion Ceo's in 2011. It seems that the cheaper brands have higher salaries especially anything related to J.C Penney! Though we do see two familiar faces there Ralph Lauren and Reed Krakoff making quite the considerable amount! I cant imagine that being my daily income its quite marvelous, Ron Johnson No.1 makes over 145,000 dollars everyday and thats a whole lot of shoes!

So im back from my little break and heres whats been happening even though you have all prob heard about it, Valentino was officially announced as sold which was rumored and is now official, Vera Wang and her husband are getting divorced but he will remain working at her company which could be awkward! Kate Moss is staring in George Michaels new music video to soon be released which i can not wait for, shes is going to totes rock that vid! Rag&Bone downtown new york favs are returning to there native england and will be showing at london fashion week this september so once again London fashion week gets even stronger really its pretty major i remember when it was bore and was a 5 day vacation between new york and milan but now im obsessed with every thing London fashion week! Ralph Lauren was criticized for making the american Olympics uniforms in the very unpatriotic land of China. My fav highstreet brand (Actually my second fav im kind of in love with zara right now!!) Topshop is making it big in america as it will launch in NordStroms from september so its really major topshop has hit the fashion big times! Gaga has been knocked off the number one spot of the top 10 under 30 forbes list and the sweet fab taylor swift has swooped in under all those fabulous rich young people and is now the richest of all of them closely followed by justin bieber who would have thought! Gaga and justin seem to be more internationally popular?? Finally the fabulous Rihanna will be taking another step into fashion design as she is design a collection for another fav highstreet store of my'n River Island! Im sure that collection will be cool,current and very sexy ;)

Call it the Downton Abbey effect, but a whiff of Edwardian tweedy country elegance hung in the air this season it was old manor house meets the stylish 21st century girl we saw at a few collections this season. Think english countryside with period element!!!

Ralph showed a very literal downton and fabulous collection and burberry showed the more modern advanced collection for this trend. So think country tweeds,equestrian boots,edwardian gowns for evening,winter knits,plaid and a little bit of drama and costume for example top hat and kane or farmers tweed hat can really make this look prefect for the downton abbey effect trend here are some more examples enjoy!!!

Look of the day to day is a mens tailored english country downton look. This look is very theatrical with top hat and cane but broken down its a cute and preppy coat that could look modern and cool styled with the right dress. Also the plaid pants could look preppy and cool its all in breaking down and styling and this is the look of the day because its fun and theatrical has on trend features and broken there are really cute pieces.

Look of the moment today is a more sweet and simple look which a star like michelle can easily pull of. She is wearing a sweet feminine and pretty valentino dress in a beautiful pink tone with simple nude heels at a Japanese press conference for my week with Marilyn. Ralph Lauren's wonderful fall collection feature a variety of period mens wear looks and fabulous feminine gowns. The show opened with very 20s boys looks featuring plaid,tweeds,winter knits and boyish shorts revealing a preppy sock. the boy become a man a that man wore fabulous tailored grey suits with waist coats blazers and tailored pants. there were plaid coats very classy and even a surprising leopard print made appearances. I died for the fabulous top hats and canes!!! There were fabulous velvet pieces even a whole velvet suit one in red one in purple.And then the evening a fabulous selection of gowns prefect for any upper east side event or any international red carpet. The evening is were the ladies came out!!!! there were fabulous one shoulder silk dress, burst of bright pink, regal and glamorous gold accents and overall beauty and glamour!!!! This ralph lauren collection was another great triumph and will be sure to be indulging my self with some of these pieces next fall!!!!
